Tucked into a pleasant residential neighborhood in southeast Denver, Brookshire House offers Alzheimer’s care and other specialized services. From the spacious lawn to the beautiful Atrium, Brookshire offers personalized care and a “feeling of home” to its residents. Brookshire House was recently featured on Channel 9 News for its resident and staff musical CD release. Private and semi-private rooms are available.

Culture Change in Action at Brookshire House

Brookshire residents enjoy a recently-expanded, colorful dining atmosphere, enhanced by the natural light of the adjacent patio. We offer a variety of choices at every meal and family and friends are always encouraged to join us! Our Culture Change goal of offering an open-dining experience features choices for meal times and buffet-style dining.

Residents and families are encouraged to decorate rooms with personal furnishings and belongings to create a home-like environment. Rooms can be customized to accommodate resident needs and preferences. Private and semi-private rooms are available.

Brookshire features a secure backyard enjoyed by residents and perfect for visits from family and friends. We offer a variety of activities, including outings and facility events and everyone is encouraged to join in! Our holistic care services include pet therapy, art therapy, music and drama, and exercise and wellness programs.

Our secured neighborhood provides residents with a quiet, safe, and nurturing environment. This neighborhood features the therapeutic presence of animals. Visits from a neighborhood dog, an aquarium, birds and rabbits add life and interest to daily living. Peaceful murals and a patio with flowers and trees help Alzheimer’s residents feel less restricted.
