Current Events

Overview: Highline has 125 licensed beds, including 30 Private Medicare Suites, and is located in a residential neighborhood hear I–25 and Evans. We serve geriatrics, Alzheimer’s, dementia, medically complex care, neurological disorders, orthopedic rehabilitation, wound care, hospice and palliative care and respite care.

Specialized Clinical Services: 24-hour nursing care; Physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies; respiratory/trach care; Post–Op/Orthopedic care; Post Cardiac care, including post–open heart surgery recovery; Specialized Infection Care, including MRSA; Post Neurological Event care; IV Therapy; Wound Care Specialist/Wound Vac/Other Specialized Wound Care; Sub–acute ; Trach care; Specialized GI care, including Peg Tubes and other specialized dietary needs; PICC line/Central IV line, Restorative Therapy

Enhanced Care Services: Laundry and housekeeping services; Private Medicare Suites, including flat screeen TVs, cable TV, electric hi/low beds, direct telephone line and a sofa for convenience and comfort of family and/or friends; Facility Van

Accepted Payor Sources: Medicare, Medicaid, Private pay, Long-term care insurance, Contracted managed care, Evercare

Innovative Approaches to Care: Warm Welcome and First Impressions Program for newcomers; Family–oriented, person–centered care; A “feeling of home” with innovative dining options and personal care

Rehabilitation: Highline specializes in providing short–term rehab services for occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and respiratory needs. Rehabilitation is contracted through RehabCare in conjunction with WellCARE, Piñon’s holistic rehabilitation and life transitions program.
