Culture Change in Action

Valley View features restaurant-style seating and open dining throughout the day. Most meals are cooked to order and snacks are available all day and into early evening.

Residents are encouraged to decorate their own rooms with personal belongings. This helps to create a comfortable, home-like environment that has proven to be therapeutic.

Valley View features a wide variety of activities to keep residents active, stimulated and spiritually satisfied. Once a month, the living room is transformed into “Valley Flick,” which opens its doors for a night at the movies—complete with tickets and a concession stand! There are summertime camping trips with tents, sleeping bags and hayrides. Restaurant outings, movies, bowling, playing pool and trips to Cripple Creek are also on the calendar!
